Just a reminder that our annual trunk or treat is this Saturday night! And we need everyone’s help. The festivities will open to the public at 7pm so We need everyone else there early to help get everything set up. This is going to be an amazing night to love on our neighbors! I hope you have put some thought into your trunk decorations as well as your own costume!!! I was thinking of something like this:

For those of you odniters that do not know who Richard Dawkins is, He is a huge defender of Darwinian evolution. If Thomas Henry Huxley was called “Darwin’s bulldog” for being a pugnacious defender of evolution… Richard Dawkins has been called “Darwin’s Rottweiler”… Him and a few others are leading a movement called “neo-atheism” but I really think it is the same old dribble. The more I see of these guys, the less scary they become. Here is a video of Stephen Colbert making Dawkins look stupid. enjoy…
That is my question for you all… If you saw this, would you stand on the side and stare with a vacant expression on your face or would you get down with your bad self???!!?!? Personally, I would probably get my jiggy on the side! haha! I am curious to know what all the odnite’rs think!
I found this funny parody video… I say funny but it is kinda sad… Reminds me of the culture we live in… Speaking of the unsaved, Romans 1 tells us that, “since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.” In other words, God’s signature is all over creation! So much so, NO ONE has an excuse! The fact that GOD EXISTS IS OBVIOUS! Psalm 14:1 tells us that only a fool says, “there is no God!” This video really makes that obvious!
I found these and thought that those of you who attended the EG Conference hosted by The Father’s House in Vacaville would enjoy watching them again… And remember young people, when in doubt, gimme that Christian side hug!
This has no spiritual value whatsoever… I don’t know… maybe there is a illustration about practicing something and never quitting or accomplishing things when you are still young… maybe. But it is just so amazing… so amazing in fact that I wanted to share it with you all. This should become an event at all Open Door events! See if you can do it! haha

Ok, so you may or may not have seen these, but I think they are pretty cool and this one especially… basically this website allows you to upload any picture and convert it into a picture comprised of letters… I did it with our Open Door Youth Ministry logo (click on the pic to see the full size) but you can try it with any picure you want. What great about this particular website is that you can even tell it what letters to use, how big you want the letters and what colors. Then save it and use it as a profile pic on your Myspace or something. haha. Try it yourself!
